Blue Key Senior Honor Society sponsors, administers, coordinates, and teaches various programs and activities at K-State. Below is a brief description of each of the activities we help with, for more information on these programs, please click the appropriate link on the right side of your screen.
A semester experience in learning about topics important in personal growth, including self-confidence, goal setting, time management, motivation, relationships, and many others. Topic material focuses on ideas presented in Dr. Tim Elmore's book, Habitudes, as well as supplemental articles and books like How to Win Friends and Influence People.
An all-access, behind-the-scenes pass to what goes on at K-State for incoming freshman leaders.
Blue Key Senior Honor Society recognizes the work that our peers are doing at K-State. In order to thank our student campus leaders, we sponsor a reception/symposium to honor those individuals.
Blue Key facilitates discussions of Junior and Senior High School students from across the state at the Annual USpeak Conference, held at K-State. Events include Multiple hot topic discussion sessions decided by the high school participants and facilitated by K-State Blue Key student leaders.
HSLC is an event designed to inspire emerging leaders and to spark an interest and desire to continue personal development. This day-long workshop will give high school students a chance to develop leadership skills while collaborating with other leaders across the state of Kansas. The day will consist of two keynote speakers as well as workshops for both students and advisors on interesting topics to help them grow and learn.
